Lovefield airspace
the baby cries no louder
than its mother

meeting my birth mum
the cabbie talks about
spring equinoxes

baby photographs
I find another cool spot
in the pillow

cider and beer
we talk about us again
as brother and sister

coming into land
so many sunrises
over rooftops

Brisbane airport
the quarantine dog handler's
brief jealously

Perth grasslands
rainbow lorikeets block my walk
with squabbles

death of a friend
now I wonder how long
with my birth mum
