Rain Haiku
i.
First time I’ve seen
Rosellas in the city –
Looking for water

Dark pendulous clouds
I forget what rain is as
wet falls from the sky

foggy window seat
kitten sits in silent awe -
first glimpse of rainfall

life needs water mixed with air
